Why Liverpool is not in hurry for a no.6 right now?

A special no.6... In Premiere League Liverpool may be the only team going to play EPL without a specialized defensive midfielder. But is it fair to say that we don't have quality to coverup that area currently.?

   After the departure of Fabinho just before last season Klopp was scratching his head to sign a DM to the club. We have fallen through on several players during that time. On that situation Liverpool signed Wataru Endo from Stuttgart which gave Klopp a small sigh. But that panic buy didn't gave us the complete answer to that role. Given his age he is naturally declining, but Endo is a hardworking player, performed really well in Liverpool shirt. But the Japan international is not a long time solution.

   After the new manager's arrival Slot experimented more than 3 current players on that role and became succeed in analysing each of them. Starting from Morton, Szoboszlai, Endo, Bacjetic, Ryan Gravenberch, Nyoni etc. Among from them we saw Slot used a double pivot DM roles. Both Ryan Gravenberch and Szoboszlai provided some healthy match. Gravenberch against Manchester United, Sevilla showcased some promising performance that gave the manager some food to thought.

  Ryan being very crucial in our ball recovering, controlling, and forward passing among these games. Most importantly his consistency in these 2 games is very much appreciable. His teaming up with Szoboszlai is what we are enjoying to see in this season. An outstanding player with great technical abilities with a manager who loves to allow freedom to his players is gonna do wonders for the club and fans.

   But at the same time we played our last preseason match against Spanish side Las Pasmas which ended in a goalless draw. That game we saw completely different team from Sevilla game. We literally done nothing with that team barring not conceding a goal. Any of the Slot deviced players from first team might get absent we are gonna pay badly. Hope we don't allow Bacjetic to loan out.
