Preseason Arsenal match : Reaction

Arne Slot delivered a positive assessment of his Liverpool side which got a 2-1 win over Arsenal.

It was our second straight win in USA tour with goals from Mohammed Salah and Fabio carvalho.

It was a collection of excellent team moves which saw Liverpool completely dominated over Arsenal to go up 2-0 mark even before over half an hour played. We successfully held on to that until Kai havertz’s tap in to make it 2-1 towards the break.

The game we saw a completely different side from Betis match as all players were using the ball around the pitch. Long balls were effectively played from goal keeper and our defenders throughout the game. If that woodwork from Diogo Jota could have been a goal the score line must be 3-1.

Carvalho played well today that earned him an excellent goal from inside the box. At no.6 we saw Szoboszlai and he did exceptionally well. A flair of his attacking style added some extra bonus to the team while his deployment as DM.

Youngsters Conor, Nyoni etc did well driving the ball forward. During the halftime we added more youngsters into the team and they successfully held that lead and did’n shy out on attack when they got chances. The partnership of Szobo and Harvey made the Arsenal defense more headache as they successfully isolated Diogo from Kiwior and Gabriel. Harvey as usual have had a good outing today bagged 2 assists too has been an active figure up forward.
